MPKL issues offence notice to homeowner who left construction material on road

SHAH ALAM, Dec 31 — The Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL) has issued an offence notice to the homeowner who was discovered to have placed building materials on the road in front of their residence at Taman Mulia in Banting.

It said the offence was found by law enforcement patrols and surveys in the residential area on Thursday (December 29).

“MPKL enforcement officers issued an offence notice to the house owner for placing building materials like sand and bricks on the road without authorisation,” the council said in a Facebook post.

It added the offence was committed under Section 47(2)(a) of the Roads, Drains and Buildings Act 1974.

MPKL said routine patrols and inspections will be carried out from time to time by enforcement personnel.
