MPKS opens up Ramadan bazaar permits online starting Jan 5 next year

SHAH ALAM, Dec 28 — The Kuala Selangor Municipal Council (MPKS) has opened up the online application process for Ramadan bazaar permits, running from January 5 to January 19.

It said applications can be made starting at 12pm on January 5 at https://ip3ks.mpks.gov.my/.

A total of 14 Ramadan bazaar locations are available, with plot fees ranging from RM300 to RM400.

“Priority will be given to licensed hawkers at existing sites. Bazaar applicants must not have any outstanding MPKS compounds.

“Applicants must also register with the Selangor Platform (Plats) online business application,” MPKS said in a Facebook statement.

The council added that an additional RM60 fee will be charged for the sale of sugarcane and coconut water.

The Ramadan bazaars will be situated in front of Lada Kuala Selangor, Lotus Kuala Selangor, the Bandar Melawati bus terminal, Jalan K/P1 Tanjong Karang, and the MPKS Food Court.

Other locations include Jalan Naluri Sukma Puncak Alam; in front of Balai Raya Saujana Utama, Jalan Sejati 1 at Ijok. Coalfields Village, the old Sungai Buloh public market site, Bandar Puncak Alam, Astana Alam Phase 3, Alam Jaya, and Jalan Dataran Suria 15/7/1 in Puncak Alam.

Similarly, MPKS has also opened permits for bazaars in two locations, which are at Jalan K/P1 Tanjong Karang from March 23 to April 21 at RM400 per plot, and in front of Pasar Awam Sungai Buloh from April 17 to April 21 at RM250 per plot.
