SHAH ALAM, Dec 23 — Water tankers have been mobilised to deliver supplies to the affected areas in Hulu Selangor, following a burst pipe incident in Jalan Bukit Beruntung earlier today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said it is prioritising water deliveries to critical premises including hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres, and funerals.

“The work to repair the broken pipe along Jalan Bukit Beruntung has been underway since 11am this morning. The incident caused 50 areas to experience unscheduled water disruptions.

“The repairs are expected to be fully completed by 8pm, with the water to be distributed in stages. The recovery time period is different for each area depending on the location and distance of the user’s premises,” it said in a Facebook post.

The agency requested that users refer to Air Selangor’s communication channels, including its Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages, or contact 15300 to obtain the latest information.
