Musical fountain display to celebrate 2023 Federal Territory Day

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 — In conjunction with the Federal Territory Day celebrations, musical fountain shows in recreation parks, shopping malls and popular spots will be held for a month starting February 1.

Federal Territories Department director-general Datuk Seri Rosida Jaafar said that the shows which will start from 8pm to 10pm are jointly organised by Kuala Lumpur City Hall, Putrajaya Corporation, Labuan Corporation, KLCC Holdings Sdn Bhd, The Gardens KL and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur without involving government funds.

“This programme can brighten up the Federal Territories and strengthen the love that we have for our Federal Territories.

“It is also a suitable leisure activity for the whole family. This will encourage tourism activities in the three Federal Territories,” she said in a statement here today.

Rosida said the musical fountain display can be enjoyed free of charge at the KLCC Lake Symphony Fountain, Crystal Fountain Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, The Gardens KL Fountain, River Of Life Blue Pool (Jalan Leboh Pasar Besar), Putrajaya Lake Fountain in Precinct 2 and Marlin Circle, Jalan Merdeka in Labuan.

To enliven the atmosphere, premises in Kuala Lumpur will feature light installations from January 30 to February 2, she added.
