Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari the decision was made after the Selangor State Executive Council was presented with the findings of the report on the Batang Kali landslide disaster.

“Guidelines for business activities and camping sites would be developed together by the state government and local authorities to improve the safety of Selangor residents who engage in these activities,” Amirudin said in a statement today.

The landslide incident that took place at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite in Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor, on December 16, 2022, was nearly 300 meters (m) in distance and 70m high on the B66 Jalan Batang Kali-Genting Hulu Selangor route.
