SHAH ALAM, Feb 3 — The double-decker Hop-On Hop-Off (HOHO) Selangor bus service is expected to be launched in mid-April.

State executive councillor for tourism Hee Loy Sian said in the first phase, Sepang will be the first district to have a bus service involving two routes namely Sungai Pelek (every Saturday) and Cyberjaya (every Sunday).

“As a start, the service will be carried out by one bus only and further improvements will be based on the response we received during the first phase.

“The next phase will be expanded to cover other districts and the number of buses will be added accordingly,” he told SelangorKini.

Previously, Hee said the inaugural initiative is aimed at developing tourism products involving the Sepang route for the first phase.

The service targets domestic and international tourists, especially those who have long stopovers at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, to go sightseeing in the Sepang area before catching their next flights.

The tickets are sold at RM50 for local adults and RM40 (children) while for non-citizens, RM80 (adults) and RM70 (children).
