KUALA SELANGOR, Feb 27 — The Jelajah Kita Selangor Penyayang (JKSP) programme opened the week before will continue to Hulu Langat and Kuala Langat districts this week.

State executive councillor for human capital development Mohd Khairuddin Othman said JKSP will explore other areas that have never organised it before.

“Next week (this week), we will go to Hulu Langat and Kuala Langat to meet the residents there,” he said when met after the Kuala Selangor JKSP programme at Esplanade Eco Grandeur Square, here yesterday.

The Paya Jaras state assemblyman explained that JKSP was organised to introduce 44 Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP) programmes implemented by the state government for the people.

According to Mohd Khairuddin, most of the residents do not know about the initiative thus causing the aid to not reach the target group.

“Today, we only have one problem. Most people don’t know we have 44 programmes. That is why we need the help of various parties to introduce these programmes,” he said.

JKSP, which was previously known as Jelajah Selangor Penyayang (JSP), provides various activities including free health screenings, sales of affordable basic goods, exhibitions and leisure events.

The programme is also the state government’s approach to publicise all the ISP programmes to the people.
