Socso organises MYFutureJobs 2023 , launches SKSSR this weekend

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 8 — The Human Resources Ministry (KSM) via the Social Security Organisation (Socso) will be launching the Housewives Social Security Scheme (SKSSR) and MYFutureJobs 2023 Career Carnival at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on Saturday and Sunday (February 11 and February 12).

Socso in a statement issued today said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to launch the event on February 11, aimed at bringing the scheme closer to the people besides organising open job interviews and other job services on a large scale.

During the two-day event, the public will have the opportunity to interact directly with Socso to understand the benefits offered under the scheme apart from having access to consultancy and registering at the booths provided.

“Husbands and third parties like non-governmental organisations or private firms were also encouraged to sponsor deductions on behalf of the housewives,” said the statement.

First implemented on December 1, 2022, SKSSR offers benefits under the Domestic Disaster Protection and Disability Coverage such as Medical Benefits, Permanent Disability Benefits, Illness Allowance, Funeral Management Benefits and Survivors’ Pension.
