PETALING JAYA, March 3 — Muslim residents in the Kota Anggerik state constituency can now apply for Jom Shopping vouchers worth RM200, in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri period.
Its state assemblyman Najwan Halimi the application is open to families and couples with a monthly household income of RM3,000 and under, and who are also voters in the state constituency
“Only one application for each household. Recipients of Bantuan Kehidupan Sejahtera Selangor (Bingkas) are ineligible,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday.
Najwan added the applications must be made by including a copy of the applicant’s identity card along with their spouse’s, together with a salary slip or any other form of income verification.
They must also include a death or divorce certificate, if applicable.
“Applicants must dispatch the form to the Kota Anggerik state constituency’s community service center at TTDI Adina in Section 13, Shah Alam, before March 10,” he said.
Earlier on, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the Jom Shopping Perayaan voucher rate would be increased from RM100 to RM200 per family.
On the whole, the state government has estimated that 82,400 will benefit from the programme, at a RM16.48 million allocation.
