MBPJ organises National Landscape Day on March 19, various interesting activities prepared

SHAH ALAM, March 11 — Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) invites the public to celebrate National Landscape Day at Taman Aman, Section 22, Petaling Jaya on March 19.

Its Corporate Communications Unit said the programme which starts at 7am offers a variety of interesting activities for both adult and children visitors

“Among the activities available are treasure hunt, zumba, petting zoo, pony ride and free health check-ups.

“The people will also have the opportunity to buy various items offered at the booths in addition to browsing the exhibitions prepared,” it said on Facebook.

MBPJ added that any enquiries can be made by calling 03-7804 8907 or 03-7804 8908 (office hours).

National Landscape Day has been declared and celebrated on March 3 every year.

The main purpose of the celebration is to improve the quality of the country’s landscape development by creating awareness, attracting interest and knowledge among all parties towards the landscape and environment.

National Landscape Day is also held in support of the development of the national landscape industry.
