SHAH ALAM, March 27 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is offering free bulk waste collection service for terraced homes in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
Its Corporate And Strategic Management Department deputy director Azfarizal Abdul Rashid said the waste collection service will be conducted by KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM) for 15 days from April 4 to 18.
“The categories of bulk waste for the collection service include mattresses and old furniture. Renovation waste, moving homes, electrical goods and recyclables are not included.
“Priority will be given to residents who are celebrating the Aidilfitri festival,” he said in a statement today.
Requests for the service can be made via the KDEBWM hotline at 03-8081 4437 or WhatsApp (011-3558 4437) from April 3 to 10.
“KDEBWM will then contact the resident to schedule a collection date and the waste items would have to be placed in front of the house,” he added.
