MBSJ presents Five-Star Management Award to 25 JMBs, MCs

SHAH ALAM, March 21 — A total of 25 Joint Management Bodies (JMBs) and Management Corporations (MC) received the Five-Star Management Award at the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) Strata Community Award Ceremony (Aksara) 2022, last night.

Subang Jaya deputy mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali said that the purpose of the award is to evaluate the performance of the management and maintenance of stratified buildings under MBSJ.

“For the 2022 evaluation session, MBSJ selected 300 low-, medium-, and high-cost
strata buildings and assessed the performance of its management and maintenance based on the criteria that were set.

“Based on the assessment, the best 25 JMBs and MCs were selected and given recognition. We hope that this would inspire other JMBs and MCs to be more active and committed to ensuring stratified development areas comply with the provisions of the Strata Management Act 2013 (Act 757),” he said.

Out of the 25 recipients, six were awarded the Best JMB and MC Awards at the event held at the Mardhiyyah Hotel and Suites, here.

The management bodies that were awarded as the best JMBs are Pangsapuri Garnet, Taman Puchong Indah, for the low-cost category, Pangsapuri Putra Permai 1A, Taman Equine Seri Kembangan (medium-cost) dan One Soho, SS16 Subang Jaya (high-cost).

The recipients of the best management corporations are Pangsapuri Belimbing Cempaka, Taman Bukit Belimbing, Seri Kembangan for the low-cost category, Pangsapuri Sri Kesidang, Bandar Puchong Jaya (medium-cost) dan Kondominium Desa Impiana, Puchong Prima (high-cost).

MBSJ had also presented the Best Managing Agent Award to five companies, namely MSFM & Associate, Intra Harta Consultant Sdn Bhd, Azmi & Co Sdn Bhd, Nilai Harta Consultant Sdn Bhd and TCL Management & Services.

All winners received a certificate and plaque while Best JMB and MC Award recipients received an additional cash prize of RM1,500 each.
