MPAJ maintains, repairs slope near condominium for safety of residents

SHAH ALAM, March 17 — The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has been carrying out maintenance and slope repairs at Mutiara Condominium, Jalan Bukit Indah 3/3, Ampang recently.

Remedial works involving the construction of gabion walls and the repair of damaged drains was made as an early preventive measure.

“Some risky and leaning trees behind the condominium that are likely to fall and hit vehicles have been cut down.

“MPAJ pays attention to the infrastructure in the Ampang Jaya area through regular maintenance for safety and to meet the needs of the residents,” the local authority said in a statement.

In addition, MPAJ also carried out the widening of a new 50-metre slip road at Jalan Air Bukit, Taman Ampang Utama.

According to the statement, the 700-metre-long imprinted concrete footpath equipped with barrier rails was built on Jalan Tasik Tambahan 3 and Jalan Taman Putra, Ampang using the provisions of the Malaysian Road Records Information System (Marris).
