PKNS signs MoU to offer discounts on Samsung products to PKNS house buyers

SHAH ALAM, March 23 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) and Samsung Malaysia Electronics today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will enable buyers of PKNS homes to get a discount on Samsung household products.

PKNS chief executive officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas said the MoU will benefit PKNS homeowners as Samsung is a trusted brand, adding the tie-up will begin with the double-storey link homes of Puteri Ariana in Kota Puteri near here which will be launched in May.

“For this project, we will start off with a pilot scheme, where we will offer house buyers several special packages, for example, package A comes with air conditioners and computers while package B offers air conditioners and television.

“The offer is not included in the house price but it is an option for our customers,” he told the media, after signing the MoU with Samsung Malaysia president Denny Kim.

“PKNS will also use Samsung’s services in producing ‘smart buildings’ in our developments such as condominiums and shopping malls,” he added.
