Selangor FC uses European technology to shorten players’ injuries recovery period

SHAH ALAM, March 6 — Selangor FC received specialised expertise in physiotherapy and player rehabilitation through collaboration with BTL Industries Malaysia (BTL Malaysia) and the Selangor Football Association (FAS).

BTL Malaysia director M Mageswari said equipment using European technology will be used which can shorten the recovery period.

“We have equipment related to physiotherapy that can reduce pain and injuries during sports, especially football. It can also reduce players’ recovery time and all these equipment are of high technology.

“Through this collaboration, we can understand more about health and the recovery of injuries,” she said.

Among the offerings of the collaboration is the provision of physiotherapy facilities, treatment rooms and a range of European technology machines.

Yesterday, Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah inaugurated the FAS Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Centre together with BTL Malaysia. Also present was FAS chief executive officer Johan Kamal.
