SHAH ALAM, March 31 — Selangor’s civil servants will receive Special Financial Assistance (BKK) amounting to one month’s salary, for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive period.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the Kita Selangor Aidilfitri Special Incentive will be paid into the civil servants’ respective accounts by April 21 at the latest.

“One month’s salary, or a minimum of RM1,000, to all state civil servants currently serving in the State Secretariat Building.

“The same assistance will be extended to Federal civil servants who serve under the state government, as well as kafa teachers,” he said.

Amirudin was speaking at the Rapat Rahmah Ramadan fast-breaking programme with state civil servants, at Dewan Jubli Perak in the State Secretariat Building, Shah Alam, earlier this evening.

Under the Kita Selangor Aidilfitri Special Incentive, Selangor civil servants fall under the first category, which also includes state assemblymen.

In the second category, fiscal aid equivalent to one month’s allowance will be provided to community leaders including village heads, Traditional Village Community Management Council (MPKK) chairmen, new village and Kampung Bagan communication officers, Indian community leaders, Wanita Berdaya Selangor coordinators, and Selangor Local Youth Movement (PeBS) members.

In the third category, RM500 will be given to mosque personnel including the nazir, imam rawatib, siak, and bilal. Guru rakyat in religious schools also falls under this category.

In the fourth category, civil servants of the Federal government who fall under the purview of the state government and earning a monthly income of less than RM3,000 will be given RM200.
