PETALING JAYA, March 1 — The Kampung Tunku state constituency and the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) are working together to upgrade Taman SS 2/32’s infrastructure.

Its state assemblyman Lim Yi Wei approximately RM48,105 has been allocated to carry out painting works and to erect a fence around the volleyball court in the area.

“The remaining process is managed by MBPJ, like the resurfacing of the basketball court, footpaths, painting the playground and exercise equipment, and repairing wooden benches.

“The repairs were carried out following complaints from residents over the basketball court, as its floor was cracked and posed a risk to the players, as well as the generally dismal conditions of the facility,” she told SelangorKini.

Lim added that six projects were successfully carried out in cooperation with MBPJ and former Damansara MP Tony Pua, to upgrade the areas around SS2 since last year.

“I would like to thank both MPBJ and YB Pua for helping to beautify the area around Kampung Tunku. I hope the residents will be able to feel more comfortable and enjoy the amenities.

“We are seeking to continue the trend of upgrading infrastructure, so residents can be surrounded by safe and comfortable environments,” she said.
