Bukit Aman receiving two new dept directors this May

KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 — Bukit Aman will receive two new department directors at the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) headquarters in May, PDRM secretary Datuk Noorsiah Saaduddin said.

She said that Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf has been appointed Commercial Crimes Investigation Department (CCID) director, while CCID director Datuk Seri Mohd Kamaruddin Md Din has been appointed as the Narcotics Crimes Investigation Department director.

Meanwhile, Penang police chief Datuk Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain has been appointed as the new Kuala Lumpur police chief, and Special Branch deputy director II Datuk Ahmad Ramdzan Daud has been promoted to Special Branch deputy director I with the rank of acting CP.

Sentul district police chief ACP Beh Eng Lai has been promoted to Kuala Lumpur Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department chief with the rank of acting SAC, along with Selangor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) chief Supt Azman Shari’at, who has been appointed Bukit Aman JSPT secretariat chief with the rank of acting ACP.

Noorsiah said that these senior officers are among the 61 PDRM senior officers involved in a major transfer exercise throughout the country that will take effect on May 15.
