SHAH ALAM, April 13 — The Bandar Utama state constituency service centre is inviting Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara residents to join in a free health checkup this coming Saturday (April 15).

Its state assemblyman Jamaliah Jamaluddin said the checkup will be organised in collaboration with the Assunta Petaling Jaya Hospital, and will be held at Balai Raya Kampung Sungai Kayu from 8.30am to 12pm.

“The checkups are open to residents who are Malaysian and earning a monthly salary of RM2,500 and below.

“Residents can also apply for Assunta Hospital’s Social Welfare Outpatient Program (SWOP) card, by bringing along a copy of their salary slip and a confirmation letter from the Social Welfare Department, on the same day,” she said.

Those interested in the free health checkups can register at http://tiny.cc/KlinikKayuAra, or walk in on the day of the examination.

“This free health screening is a monthly event, and we chose Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara as many residents here are in need.

“Further inquiries can be asked by contacting the hotline 016-6849 371,” Jamaliah said.
