MB invites Hulu Selangor residents to Aidilfitri open house this Saturday

SHAH ALAM, April 26 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has extended an invitation to Hulu Selangor residents, encouraging them to come for the Jelajah Kita Selangor Aidilfitri open house this Saturday (April 29).

He said he looks forward to meeting them in the spirit of merry festivity, with the open house taking place at Padang Taman Awam Hulu Bernam, from 8pm onwards.

“Come and lighten the atmosphere with family and friends, and may we all meet and be happy together,” Amirudin said in a Facebook post.

Taking place in all of the state’s nine districts, Jelajah Kita Selangor Aidilfitri commences on Friday (April 28) the morning market site in Pekan Salak, Sepang. On Sunday (April 30), it is scheduled to take place at Padang Taman Sri Kerayong in Klang.

Other locations for the state open house include:

  • The Tapak Agora Night Market in Taman Sri Nanding, Hulu Langat on May 5.
  • The pasar malam site in Sungai Buloh, Petaling on May 6.
  • Taman Perwira Sijangkang in Kuala Langat on May 7.
  • Dataran Tanah Lesen in Parit Baru, Sabak Bernam on May 12.
  • The Bukit Badong public field in Kuala Selangor on May 13.

The last open house will take place at the Uptown Sri Gombak site in Gombak on May 14, which Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is slated to attend.

During Jelajah Kita Selangor Aidilfitri, visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about various state government initiatives via the Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP) programme, which is also available and can be applied for immediately.
