MBI channels early aid to Ramadan bazaar traders affected by rain

SHAH ALAM, April 15 — Ramadan Bazaar traders in Greenwood yesterday who were affected by the heavy rains and strong winds will be provided with assistance by Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI.

This was the response by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari on social media to user Arif Asyraf.

“Our preliminary information has revealed eight hawkers, thus MBI will channel aid early tomorrow (today) or the day after tomorrow (tomorrow),” he said on Twitter yesterday evening.

It is understood the incident resulted in many tents belonging to the traders overturning and collapsing, due to the strong gusts and rainfall within a five-minute period.
