Over 98,000 litres of subsidised diesel seized in Port Dickson — KPDN

SEREMBAN, April 14 — The Negeri Sembilan chapter of the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) seized 98,840 litres of subsidised diesel fuel, worth RM212,506, from a premise in Port Dickson yesterday evening.

Its director Muhammad Zahir Mazlan said his team raided the premises in the Sri Lukut Industrial Park and found it stored diesel that exceeded the permitted limit of 60,000 litres.

“The inspection conducted at the subsidised diesel wholesaler level was KPDN’s proactive action to identify and address the issue of leakages of subsidised diesel during the Ops TIRIS period,” he said in a statement here today.

Muhammad Zahir said the case is being investigated under the Control of Supplies Act 1961.
