SHAH ALAM, April 19 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) will once again hold its Selamat Pagi Subang Jaya – Car-Free Day programme next month, which will feature various additional interesting activities for the public.
Subang Jaya Deputy Mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali said following a break during the ongoing Ramadan fasting month, the programme will resume with several events like the Criterium bike race, the Karloot market, and a karaoke competition.
“Alongside these events, we will also organise the Basketball King Of The Street and Street Soccer competitions.
“The activities were formulated to draw in more visitors to Selamat Pagi Subang Jaya – Car-Free Day,” he said during MBSJ’s fourth monthly Plenary Meeting at its headquarters yesterday.
Besides the new events, other activities like running, walking and leisurely cycling will be held as usual.
During next month’s programme, activities like Pesta Sarapan, Kendera Saji Non-Muslim, Pasar Eco Free, free health screenings, agency exhibitions, archery, rope rappelling, and a lucky draw will also take place.
Selamat Pagi Subang Jaya – Car-Free Day will take place on May 7 the Aeon Big Subang Jaya and Subang Parade shopping complexes.
