Air Selangor: Burst pipe at Jalan Bukit Cerakah fixed, water supply restored to affected areas in stages

SHAH ALAM, May 23 — The burst pipe at Jalan Bukit Cerakah in Bandar Puncak Alam, Kuala Selangor, has been fixed at 3am today and water supply to areas hit by an unscheduled water cut resumes in stages.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) in a statement today said water supply is expected to be fully restored by 12am on Wednesday (May 24) to the affected areas in Klang and Shah Alam and 9pm (Wednesday) to areas hit in Kuala Selangor.

Yesterday , emergency repair works due to a pipe burst at Jalan Bukit Cerakah was carried out at 9am, which resulted in an unscheduled water cut to 99 areas in Shah Alam, Klang and Kuala Selangor.
