Air Selangor: Water supply fully restored in Kuala Selangor, 17 pct in Klang, Shah Alam

SHAH ALAM May 24 – The water supply has been restored to 17 per cent of affected areas in Shah Alam and Klang as of noon today, according to Air Selangor Sdn Bhd.

In their latest update posted on Facebook, it said the water supply to affected areas will be restored by 9pm today, while the water supply has already been fully restored in Kuala Selangor.

Air Selangor also said the water supply recovery period differs from one area to another, according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises.

The unscheduled water disruption in Shah Alam, Klang and Kuala Selangor was caused by a burst water pipe along Jalan Bukit Cerakah in Bandar Puncak Alam, Kuala Selangor, earlier this week.

The repair work involves a main pipeline measuring 2,200 millimetres in diameter and a large-scale distribution area.

Affected consumers can also obtain information regarding this unscheduled water supply disruption from time to time through official communication channels such as the Air Selangor app, FacebookInstagram and Twitter, or contact Air Selangor at 15300.

Below is a list of the areas where the water supply has yet to fully recover:
