MPKj receives 60 Rumah SelangorKu units as quarters

HULU LANGAT, May 20 — The Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) has been provided with 60 Rumah SelangorKu units, at Pangsapuri Idaman Abadi in Kajang 2, which will be turned into quarters for its personnel.

The council said the granting of these residences is due to the state government’s approval to convert Kuarters Majlis Jaya in Sungai Chua to affordable housing units.

“Via the approval, MPKj received 60 units of Type D Rumah SelangorKu, with an area of ​​1,022 square feet and an estimated cost of RM200,000 per unit,” it said in a statement.

The symbolic handover of the keys to the residences to MPKj President Najmuddin Jemain took place during the MPKj 2023 Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house, at Menara MPKj yesterday.

The development of the Rumah SelangorKu@Pangsapuri Idaman Abadi involves 352 units in a 30-storey block, which includes eight floors of parking, two garbage room units, and a guardhouse unit.
