SHAH ALAM, May 2 — The Seri Serdang state constituency has allocated RM50,000 to repair the roof of Flat Taman Puchong Permai (A) Puchong, which was damaged during a storm on April 8.
Its state assemblyman’s special officer (infrastructure) Fauzan Rosli said the work to upgrade the infrastructure of the quarter-century flat’s four blocks will also include the replacement of its damaged rain gutters.
“The repair works are also the third follow-up project by the Seri Serdang state constituency, which began in 2021 to the present.
“This time, the project has a larger allocation under Phase One of Projek Selangor Penyayang 2.0, at nearly RM50,000,” he told SelangorKini.
Fauzan added the restoration work on the flats, inhabited by 200 families or 1,000 residents, is expected to complete by the middle of this month, subject to current weather conditions.
“Seri Serdang is always prepared to serve its citizens and does not marginalise any population groups that require aid.
“Members of the public with any questions or complaints may contact the state constituency’s community service centre office at 03 8066 2924,” he said.
