SHAH ALAM, May 25 — The Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project’s three strategic partners have provided a RM100,000 donation for the human development of SJK(T) Ladang Midlands students, earlier today.

The three companies include Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, MRCB Builders Setia Utama LRT3 Sdn Bhd, and Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd.

MRCB’s land and public relations director Mohd Yusuf Ali presented the funds to the school’s governing board, which was represented by K. Uthayasoorian.

Kota Anggerik state assemblyman Najwan Halimi was on hand to serve as the witness to the corporate social responsibility ceremony.

Speaking to SelangorKini, Uthayasoorian expressed his thanks, and said the board will utilise the funds to implement student development programmes.

“I would also like to extend our thanks to YB Najwan as Kota Anggerik’ representative, as he has helped the school on numerous occassions.

“The donation will be channeled to the Parents’ and Teachers’ Association (PIBG) and the school, to carry out human development programmes for students,” he said.

During the ceremony, Yayasan MRCB trustee Datuk Shamrat Shen Gupta also presented school bags and stationery to 173 students from needy families.
