KTMB: Extra ELA train tickets for Aidiladha to go on sale from 8pm today

KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 — Additional ticket sales for the Ekspress Lambaian Aidiladha (ELA) train service to the East Coast, in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration, will go on sale from 8pm tonight to give the opportunity to those who could not purchase the tickets before.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) said that the additional two ELA services, involving 952 tickets, including sleeping berth coach, premier seat coach, superior seat coach, buffet coach, and chillax coach, introduced due to the high demand.

The ELA train journey is on June 27 for the KL Sentral – Tumpat route, which is scheduled to depart at 11pm and arrive at 3.53pm the next day, while the Tumpat to KL Sentral journey departs at 6pm and arrives at 9.32am the next day.

“The ELA train will stop at 17 stations, namely KL Sentral Station, Bandar Tasik Selatan, Kajang, Seremban, Pulau Sebang, Gemas, Bahau, Mentakab, Jerantut, Kuala Lipis, Gua Musang, Dabong, Kuala Kral, Tanah Merah, Pasir Mas, Wakaf Bharu, and Tumpat,” KTMB said in a statement.

Tickets are priced from RM55 to RM83 for a one-way trip.

KTMB users are advised to purchase tickets through the KTMB Mobile (KITS) application or through the KTMB website www.ktmb.com.my.
