RAWANG, June 10 — The state government has allocated RM1.5 million for the improvement works to the water tank in Taman Sri Hijau, Rawang, according to its state assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat.
He said the ongoing project will enable increased water pressure and ensures a continuous water supply for the residents in the area.
“The project is expected to benefit around 30,000 residents in the area, and the water tank is able to provide up to eight hours of water supply, in the event of water disruptions,” Chua said.
He added the project is expected to be fully completed by the end of this year.
