MB continues CNY tradition of visiting friends, hopes close relationship continues

SHAH ALAM, Feb 11 —Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari’ has continued the tradition of visiting the homes of Chinese friends in Gombak every year in conjunction with Chinese New Year.

Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari was accompanied on his visits by his wife Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad and Hulu Kelang State Legislative Assembly coordinator Juwairiya Zulkifli.

The Menteri Besar and other Gpmbal MPs started the Chinese New Year open house visits at Long Fei Fei’s house spending time wishing everyone and being treated to traditional Yee Sang.

With this tradition of visiting friends over Chinese New Year Amirudin hopes that the friendly relationships that has been forged remain tight-knit and strong.

Earlier, Amirudin along with several state executive councillors celebrated Chinese New Year at the residence of state executive councillor for local government and tourism Dato’ Ng Suee Lim.

Other members of the state government that were present at the open house were state executive councillor for public health and environment Jamaliah Jamaluddin, state executive councillor for youth, sports and entrepreneurship Mohd Najwan Halimi and state executive councillor for rural development and unity Datuk Rizam Ismail.
