Shah Alam pipe burst: Water fully restored to all affected areas

SHAH ALAM, May 28 — Water supply has been fully restored to all areas affected by an unscheduled water cut following emergency repair works on a burst pipe along Jalan Budiman in Section 22 here. 

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said all 28 locations in Shah Alam, Petaling and Klang received full supply of water as of 6 am today. 

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the users for their patience and cooperation during this period of unscheduled water supply disruption,” it said in an update today on its social media platforms. 

On Sunday, Air Selangor reported a pipe burst incident along Jalan Budiman, forcing an unscheduled water cut in 28 locations starting 6 pm as it worked to resolve the issue. 

Emergency repair works were completed at 5.30 am yesterday, with water supply then being restored in stages.
