SHAH ALAM, Nov 2 — Agropreneurs are invited to join the Selangor Agro Icon 2024 search programme, which is open until November 10.
State executive councillor for infrastructure and agriculture Izham Hashim said the programme, which has been organised since 2020, includes categories in agriculture, livestock, aquaculture, agro-based industries, and agro-tourism.
“Only a few days more remain before registration for the Selangor Agro Icon 2024 programme closes.
“I invite interested agripreneurs in Selangor who meet the established criteria to participate in this programme. To apply, please click the following link: https://bit.ly/Ikonagro2024,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday.
The programme aims to produce more agripreneurs in line with the goal of making Selangor a food supply storage hub.
Each Selangor Agro Icon will win cash and agricultural equipment worth RM10,000. They will also serve as mini ambassadors of the agro sector and mentor new agripreneurs.
The Selangor Agro Icons are monitored and audited by the Selangor State Agricultural Committee for two years.
