LEKAS Highway landslide: Emergency lane, slow lane closed at KM9.3 northbound

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 — The emergency lane and the slow lane at KM 9.3 northbound on the Kajang-Seremban Expressway (LEKAS) has been closed following a landslide.

LEKAS said that the closure of the two lanes is to make way for roadworks to repair the affected area.

“A Traffic Management Plan (with road signage) and 24-hour monitoring have been implemented to ensure the safety of road users in the highway traffic.

“Drivers (on LEKAS) are advised to comply with the Traffic Management Plan and road signs when passing through the location of the slope collapse. Any inconvenience is deeply regretted,” it said in a statement today.

Contact the LEKAS infoline at 1-800-888-021 for any assistance or queries.
