Through her official website, Health, Welfare, Women and Family Development Exco Dr Daroyah Alwi said the course was jointly organised by the Malaysian Youth Welfare Association, in order to help women in Selangor to acquire useful knowledge.
“Indirectly this course will help women find extra income through hairdressing,” she said in a statement.
Earlier, Daroyah was also present to officiate the new premise for Kapar Women Economic Development Association at the Taman Sungai Kapar Indah, Sementa which was also attended by other leaders and association members.
“With this new premise, hopefully all the programmes to empower women in Kapar can be organised smoothly,” she said.
