MPSJ committed to promote healthy lifestyle

SHAH ALAM, NOV 21: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) continues to be committed in its effort to promote a healthy lifestyle in its community by organising the Kayuhan Hidup Sihat MPSJ 2016.
Corporate Communications Officer Muhammad Azli Miswan said the Kayuhan Hidup Sihat programme organised since 2011 is a platform for the community to be involved with MPSJ in realising its mission which is ‘Menjadikan Perbandaran MPSJ Sejahtera, Bestari dan Dinamik’.
“Our main objective is to promote a healthy lifestyle through light sports activities such as cycling in groups and with families.

“The programme also provides a platform for the community and MPSJ to meet and connect while engaging in recreational activities,” he said in a statement.
Reportedly 700 people participated in the 24-kilometre cycling which flagged off from The Summit, Subang USJ, Persiaran Kewajipan, USJ 1, Subang Jaya, yesterday.
Among other activities included were aerobics, sale of cycling items and lucky-draw with many attractive prizes.
The programme is a collaboration between MPSJ and Summit USJ Shopping Complex, Subang Jaya District Police Headquarters, Subang Jaya Resident’s Committee, Subang Jaya Neighbourhood Association, Puchong KPMC Specialist Centre, Lerun Industries Sdn Bhd and SJ Echo.
