SHAH ALAM, OCT 4: The public is urged not to miss the chance to grab various incentives offered by Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) in conjunction with the Shah Alam City 17th Anniversary.
Its Head of Corporate and Public Relations, Shahrin Ahmad said, the incentives are in the form of MBSA facilities and amenities usage for free on certain dates.
“The incentive is a sign of MBSA’s appreciation and gratitude towards its stakeholders particularly the people of Shah Alam.
“They play an important role in making Shah Alam a prosperous, peaceful and harmonious city,” he said.
One of the incentives include free usage of the Shah Alam Aquatic Centre on October 8, where normally a child will be charged RM2.10 and an adult, RM3.20.
On the same date, anglers can fish for free in the Taman Tasik Seksyen 7, Taman Tasik Kota Kemuning and Kolam Tadahan Bukit SUK without having to pay the usual RM10 per-rod fee.
Additionally, on October 10, the Wisma MBSA Building and the Seksyen 19 Commuter Station Carpark will not be charging any parking fee..
As for sports and leisure activities, the public can use the futsal court at the Extreme Park, Seksyen 13 for free on this October 10.
Usually the court charges are RM63.60 for day-use and RM100 for night-use.
Usage of Padang C, Dataran Kemerdekaan will also be free on the same date, where the usual charge is RM30 per hour.
MBSA is also offering a 50% discount on its compounds and throughout October, its parking compound will be at a flat rate of RM30.
