SHAH ALAM, Dec 24 — The state representatives in Selangor continue to intensify their efforts in helping the flood victims who were hit by the disaster since last week.

Meanwhile, Port Klang state representative Azmizan Zaman Huri went to the ground to distribute dried food donations to bring relief to the victims.

“Together with the Maju Malaysia Entrepreneur Association, we visited the residents who were cleaning up their homes that were affected by the floods,” he said on Facebook.

Banting state assemblyman Lau Weng San also played his part by distributing basic necessities to the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Manggis PPS.

He said a complaint has been made to the Public Works Department to help expedite pothole repair works on several roads around Sungai Rambai, Sungai Jarom and Sungai Sedu because of soil erosion caused by the flood.

“Several potholes have been fixed. However, many more potholes have yet to be repaired,” he said.
