SHAH ALAM, July 23 — The Selangor’s comprehensive five-year plan to strengthen the economy and the welfare of the people will outline four main core strategies.
The structure of the First Selangor Plan (RS-1) includes economic expansion that coordinates investment strategies, enhances quality of life, and promotes social inclusion.
It also emphasises the need for sustainability to protect the environment along with smart and efficient governance by involving both the public and stakeholders.
On July 16, Amidurin had stated that the state administration had carefully created a living document that could be adjusted to current developments as part of the efforts to make Selangor a Smart State by 2025.
The RS-1 includes four phases, the first of which deals with aligning the visions, frameworks, and objectives.
The second phase would include diagnostic information and content development, the third phase to see the detailing and focus of programmes, followed by the final phase, which would be the finalisation of the report and validation sessions.
The plan will be tabled at the Selangot State Legislative Assembly on July 27. Follow news report on the tabling of the plan via selangorkini.my and selangorjournal.my.
The session will also be aired live on Facebook via SelangorTV and Media Selangor.
