SHAH ALAM, Sept 13 — The Jelajah Ehsan Rakyat affordable sales programme offering daily necessities will continue in nine selected locations throughout Selangor tomorrow, from 9am until 1pm.

The locations include Dataran Pekan Bagan Terap in Sabak, the football field at Apartment Palma, Flat 940 in Pandan Indah, Jalan Technology 3/9 in Kota Damansara, and Surau Jamiah Meru Tengah in Meru.

Meanwhile, the programme will also be held concurrently at Laman Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Tok Muda in Kapar, Masjid Nurul Ehsan in Petaling Jaya, the Taman Medan Maju Jaya commercial area in Taman Medan, and the Taman Dengkil Jaya night market site in Dengkil.

Selangor has allocated an additional RM10 million for Jualan Ehsan Rakyat, a food intervention programme introduced to alleviate the people’s burden due to rising costs.

The initiative, managed by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), focuses on six basic items including chicken, beef, fish, chicken eggs, rice and cooking oil, which are sold at prices 30 per cent lower than the market average.

The programme will continue to be held across the state until the end of the year.
