SHAH ALAM, Sept 15 — The Niaga Darul Ehsan (NaDI) financing programme is open to women who want to start up a small business and pursue entrepreneurship.
Yayasan Hijrah Selangor said the scheme offers funding of between RM1,000 and RM5,000 for business capital.
“To apply for the scheme, visit http://mikrokredit.selangor.gov.my/ or contact our financing officers at the 20 branches across the state.
“All Selangor people are eligible for the programme, especially women who are in charge of their households and meet the set requirements,” the agency said on Facebook.
Other terms and conditions include:
- Exclusively for women
- Malaysian citizen
- Selangor citizen or have resided in the state for over five years
- Voter in Selangor
- Aged between 18 and 65 years old
- Agree to form a group of three members
Previously, Hijrah aimed to get 1,722 applications for the programme, totaling RM8.61 million in funding.
The 2022 Selangor Budget set aside RM120 million to fund entrepreneurs and establish a new scheme under Hijrah that offers loans of up to RM100,000.
Apart from NaDI, other schemes under Hijrah include i-Bisnes, Zero to Hero, Go Digital, i-Lestari, i-Agro and i-Bermusim, all of which aim to empower Selangor’s business community.
