Flood: One temporary relief centre opens in Tanjong Karang

SHAH ALAM, Nov 12 — One more temporary relief centre (PPS) has been opened in Selangor at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Sungai Sireh, Tanjong Karang, to house 10 victims.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) director Norazam Khamis said as of this morning four areas in Kampung Sungai Sireh namely Lorong 14, 15, 18 and 19 were found to be affected by floods.

“All victims were relocated to SK Sungai Sireh… the flood water here is seen as starting to subside,” he said when contacted by Bernama.

According to the InfoBencanaJKM website, eight PPS have been opened in Selangor, with three in Klang district, one in Petaling district as well as four in Kuala Selangor district sheltering 890 victims from 212 families.
