SHAH ALAM, Jan 27 — The newly renovated Selangor State Land and Mines Office (PTGS) at the Selangor State Secretariat Building, here, will facilitate the application, review and payment processes related to land, which will increase state revenue.
Its director Dr Yusri Zakariah stated that the renovation of the office on the first floor of the state building was initiated and in line with the goal of providing efficient services to the customers.
He said among the facilities offered by the agency following its renovation include the implementation of the Single Point of Contact (SPOC), which is part of the e-Tanah System.
“The SPOC counter will provide comprehensive customer service, allowing all land-related matters to be handled at one counter as opposed to multiple counters as in the past,” he said when met during the handover ceremony of the PTGS’s new office, here yesterday.
The ceremony was officiated by Selangor State Secretary Dato’ Haris Kassim.
Meanwhile, Yusri said the new office was also set up with the Smartbox system, which conducts online transactions using the FPX payment method, and the handover at the Smartbox kiosks.
“Apart from that, we also provide a one-stop service to the public for private search, checking their application status, submission and quit rent payment.
“Not only do the services help improve the process of registering property ownership, but they also make it easier for investors to deal with land issues in Selangor. This would help the property market in the state grow even more,” he added.
