MB officiates STDC convocation as over 300 students receive certs, diplomas

SHAH ALAM, June 10 — A total of 346 students from the Selangor Technical and Development Centre (STDC) were awarded their respective certificates and diplomas, during its 23rd Convocation ceremony, earlier today.

Held at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Abdul Aziz in the State Secretariat Building, the event was officiated by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

Many of the graduates consisted of students majoring in information technology, automatic technology, electrical engineering, and air conditioning technology.

Others included those who took part in courses related to spray paint, motorcycle technology, electronic technology, textiles and clothing, pastry, culinary, as well as beauty and hair design.

Amirudin also presented the Anugerah Khas Dato’ Menteri Besar award to automatic diploma student Airish Azman Abdul Rahman, and the Anugerah Inspirasi award to the women’s clothing manufacturing student Khaire Idris.

Similarly, the Anugerah Semangat Jati Diri award was presented to students Zulkamal Lujaini Haskat and Norashikin Azhari, while a certificate was presented to one G. Syarmala on behalf of late son G. Logeswaran, who passed away on May 23.
