Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) chief executive officer Mohamad Khairil Mohamad Razi said Masjid Nurul Hidayah Kampung Pandan in Pandan Indah saw the highest JER sales value, at RM41,629.05.

“This was followed by the Kompleks Penghulu Mukim Hulu Langat in Dusun Tua and the Kuala Kubu Baharu constituency service centre, with RM41,347.40 and RM39,921.30 in sales, respectively,” he told Selangorkini.

“Meanwhile, sales at Laman Bougainvillea Kampung Sungai Kertas, Batu Caves, in Sungai Tua, totaled RM39,598.15, while Dataran Pantai Batu Laut in Tanjong Sepat and the Taman Kem night market site in Port Klang recorded RM38,653.75 and RM38,523.45 in sales, respectively.”

Khairil said the weekend programme attracted 4,000 visitors across six venues.

“The highest number of visitors was in Dusun Tua, with more than 700 people, while the other locations saw between 600 to 650 visitors,” he said.

He noted that chicken was the most popular item sold during the Mega Aidiladha sale.

“Nine thousand chickens were sold across the six locations, along with other products such as eggs, cooking oil, rice and beef,” he said.

Previously, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the Mega Aidiladha JER programme, organised by PKPS, was meant to help residents purchase affordable basic goods ahead of the festive period.

JER offers standard chickens at RM10 each, fresh solid meat at RM10 per pack, grade B eggs at RM10 per tray, mackerel at RM6 per pack, 5kg cooking oil bottles at RM25 each, and 5kg rice sacks at RM13 each.
