Seri Serdang rep spends RM200,000 to upgrade various institutions’ infrastructure

SHAH ALAM, June 16 — The Seri Serdang state constituency has contributed RM200,000 to repair and upgrade infrastructure at various institutions.

Its state assemblyman Abbas Azmi said the institutions benefiting from this aid include schools, mosques, suraus, and multipurpose halls, to enhance their users’ comfort and ensure their safety.

“Among the schools receiving assistance include SMK Seri Serdang and Kelas Agama dan Fardhu Ain (Kafa) Batu 14 Puchong, with each receiving RM30,000 in aid.

“The contribution for SMK Seri Serdang is for adding canteen sinks, repairing the walkway roof, and improving the field irrigation system.

“Meanwhile, the allocation for Kafa Batu 14 Puchong is to repair the assembly area, including adding a roof in that area,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Abbas added that the improvement of public facilities for the benefit of the community remains a priority.

“Those seeking the funds may submit applications to my office, and we will consider them based on several factors, including urgent needs, and so forth,” he said.
