SHAH ALAM, Sept 10 — The fourth edition of the Selangor Aviation Show (SAS 2024), which will kick off from September 12 to 14, is expected to attract approximately 32,874 visitors.

Invest Selangor Bhd (Invest Selangor) said the show, which will take place at SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre (RAC) Selangor, will be open to the public from 1pm onwards on Friday, whereas full access will be available all day on Saturday, starting from 10am.

“This year’s show promises to be a spectacular showcase, featuring participation from over 35 countries and displaying 49 static aircraft of various types,” said Invest Selangor in a statement, yesterday.

The state agency advised visitors to plan their journey accordingly, as there will be no on-site parking.

It said visitors are encouraged to use the designated parking area at Stadium Shah Alam, located in front of the City Karting (Shah Alam International Go Kart Circuit).

“Once parked, visitors should follow the signs to the designated waiting zone area, where a dedicated shuttle bus service will transport visitors from Stadium Shah Alam to the SkyPark RAC guardhouse,” it said.

Invest Selangor said shuttle buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 8.00am, with the final shuttle bus making its last return trip to Stadium Shah Alam at 7.30pm.

Upon arrival at the event, visitors are told to proceed to Registration B to scan the QR code from the confirmation email, collect an entrance wristband, and undergo a standard security check.

For added convenience, visitors may use e-hailing services from SAS2024’s official e-hailing partner MyCar, which offers a special RM2 discount for trips to and from Stadium Shah Alam.

Visitors are also encouraged to dress appropriately, including wearing closed-toe shoes for safety, and to bring essentials such as water, a holding fan, a cap, sunscreen, and an identity card or passport as a precautionary measure.

“Please note that all bags and personal belongings will be inspected, and items such as weapons and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.

“For families with children aged five years old and below, the parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver form during online registration,” it added.
