MBSJ rebrands online business licencing services

SHAH ALAM, Nov 12 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has rebranded its e-licence system to MBSJ e-licence 2.0 — “Be Smart & Safe”.

MBSJ Corporate and Strategic Management Department deputy director Azfarizal Abdul Rashid said the move is in line with the current situation during Covid-19 to limit physical contact.

“It is also a continuity on the empowerment of the online service that does not require customers to do transactions at MBSJ counters,” he said in a statement.

He said the rebranding exercise involves two categories of services namely application for and renewal of business licences.

“Other categories of licences such as traders’ licence and outdoor advertisement licence could also be accessed via online,” he said.
