1.77 mln people in Selangor completed vaccination

SHAH ALAM, Aug 8 — A total of 1.77 million or 37.3 per cent of those who have registered for the vaccines in Selangor have completed their doses of vaccines as of today.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said a cumulative total of 5.32 million vaccine doses had been administered in the state through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

“Out of the total, some 3.55 million or 74.7 per cent have received their first dose.

“Meanwhile an additional 245,746 doses have been administered under the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax),” he said on Facebook, today.

Earlier today, the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) shared in an infographic on Twitter stating the recorded daily vaccination rate in Selangor on August 7 is at 98,997 out of the total 425,698 doses of vaccines administered nationwide.
