SHAH ALAM, June 24 — RM100,000 has been allocated for road resurfacing works within the vicinity of the PPR Lembah Subang 1 dan 2 public housing areas.
Seri Setia incumbent state assemblyman Halimey Abu Bakar said the works have since been completed, and users can now use the road in more comfort.
“Via the Projek Selangor Penyayang (PSP) allocation, we carried out road resurfacing works on several roads around the two housing areas.
“These repairs were necessary as some of the roads had potholes. With the road resurfacing, residents can drive around in more comfort,” he said.
Halimey was speaking to the press during the work visit by Local Government Development Deputy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, to PPR Lembah Subang 1 yesterday.
The assemblyman also expressed his gratitude, particularly to Seri Setia residents, for providing him with the opportunity to serve Selangor’s people.
“If re-elected, I will continue to serve and provide assistance as usual, just as before,” he said.
During the tabling of the 2023 Selangor Budget, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said RM28 million will be allocated to PSP, with the goal of accelerating and stimulating the local economy via the provision of small-scale projects for the benefit of the local community.
PSP’s priority will be for maintenance works and upgrading existing infrastructure, and the development of government public facilities, particularly those without annual maintenance allocations.
